I'm back

Ok so I have been really bad for not blogging and I admit I have really missed it. I have realised how important it is to do things that make you happy, so here I am!

Over the Christmas break I have been able to kick back, relax and enjoy reading many blogs! It's been so much fun and I have decided that I really enjoyed blogging and I have promised to continue and develop my blog in my spare time!

If you have read one of my first ever blogs you would know that I am living in London. Four months have flown by (although a lot has happened) and it's safe to say it has changed me for the better.

After having a few low days i finally saw the good and realised that I really should enjoy the rest of my time living away and absorb in as much of London as possible! Here's to the next 5 months and an Awesome 2015!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I look forward to posting all things fabulous!
Happy New Year!

Amazing Lashes- Channel Le Volume Mascara

With thousands on the market and all adverts telling us the same thing, some more persuading than others, i decided to take risk and pay a cheeky £22.50 for Channel Le Volume Mascara. This was a purchase i will never regret and i am sure i will stick to religiously.

Do you ever find yourself in the middle of a beauty store browsing for a mascara and then realise you have a selection in your hand to still choose from? I am very guilty of this, after realising that by the time i had purchased three disappointing mascaras over a period of time, i could have chosen the more expensive option in the first place and had the dreamy lashes within the first purchase but still paid the same amount of money. Sometimes waiting to discover the perfect mascara can be frustrating and costly.

Realising the truth made me feel like a fool however I am now on my third tube of Channel Le Volume mascara in just under a year and a half. Thats one mascara every 6 months which is pretty good going considering I apply it most days.

In any mascara you want volume, length and colour, this one seems to have it all. It has a perfect, pointed and sturdy brush, suitable for applying as many layers as you may need. Due to the brush bristles being so close together it individually separates the lashes and extends them without creating any clumps.  Also, the second best thing about this mascara is how quickly it drys, this enables those fresh and curled lashes to dry instantly, increasing volume.

Normally, my mascara will last me a whole day in the office however if i am going out in the evening i may add another coat to define the lashes a bit more but generally it will last a solid day.

This Channel product is a no smudge, lasting and defining mascara that is definitely one of my favourite to create a generous amount of volume whilst keeping clumps at bay.

T'is the Season to be jolly!

Two breakfast events,  300 Christmas invites sent, drinks out and a visit to Oxford St Christmas Lights - what a busy but exciting week it has been!

I organised a flat night out to Oxford St Christmas Lights, however I had second thoughts when I realised how busy and manic it would be- not sure about you but crowds of people really do make me feel uncomfortable!

Anyway off I went, I finished work early and jumped on the tube. When i arrived at Oxford Circus station I could not believe my eyes, it wasn't busy at all! After all that worrying the excitement soon kicked in!

After joining my friends in the queue for about 10 minutes we were then herded like sheep into the main central arena. For those of you who know Oxford St the arena was located right outside John Lewis.

Before Cheryl Cole kick started the festive excitement and pushed the button to turn all the lights on, Jess Glynne, Neon Jungle, Charlie and Chocolate Factory and Rixton amazed us with their singing talent, I must say Jess Gylnne was by far my favourite.

It was pretty impressive how this huge blanket of light lit up the whole of Oxford St, which is a mighty mile and a half long! ( The longest high street in Europe! ) As you can imagine everyones first words involved the word 'beautiful', the pictures do not do it justice at all.

I am sure half the nation, if not more, know of the famous Monty the Penguin who has been all over our televisions this week. John Lewis added to the Christmas spirt by playing their festive advert on the large screens, which of course brought a tear to my eye and pulled on my heart strings. Afterwards they dropped the curtains on their window displays, i cannot describe how awesome and brilliant they are.I hugely recommend if you can walk pass John Lewis and admire their imaginative windows to do so. It may not sound that exciting but trust me your festive sprit will increase ten folds.

I'm so so glad I decide to go, it honestly started the festive period of with a big bang and lots of sparkle!

Hopefully i will also make it to Regent Street lights next Sunday too!

What Christmas Lights do you plan to see this Year?

Shopping Experience- Libertys!

Sunday 26th Oct.

Shopping, is a word that many girls associate a combination of positive vibes, along with one negative phrase, 'the bank is now empty.'

No matter how much money I spend I have got into a habit of working out a brilliant excuse for spending any disposable income. For example, 'it's okay because i only spent £30 in Tesco this week rather than £45' therefore the difference has helped contribute towards my new purchase.

Some how i think these positive, sometimes miss leading, excuses are a result of guilt of spending money i should probably be saving. But saying that everyone needs to treat themselves once in a while ( or once every two days ;) )! xxxxxxx

Saying that 'I love shopping' is a fair point however it's not as easy as walking out the front door and finding everything i could have dreamed of. I have to physically and mentally prepare by agreeing with the following 3 points before venturing to the shops:

1- be in the mood for shopping

2- have lots of energy - walking to shop after shop can be tiring
3- feel as if i have worked for the shopping trip and deserve to treat myself

I have always seen shopping, purchasing clothes and products as a treat, although the older I have become the more treats I have been able to buy, due to earning more money.

I now live 10 minutes from Oxford Street by tube, which is beyond tempting. My first visit to Oxford Street was incredible, it's sad to say that i haven't felt that much excitement in a good few months! You girls will understand, that when seeing your favourite 20/30 shops all within 10m of each other is extremely exciting!

Liberty's was the best and favourite shopping 'experience' so far. The luxury department store is always talked about because of its uniqueness and reputation of their luxury products.

My goodness did we have fun! Window shopping in normal high street branded shops is something that sometimes bores me, every window is the same. However luxury window shopping, especially at Liberty's is always a treat.

The majority of the prices are incredibly expensive and some will take your breathe away - i think this is why i find luxury window shopping much more fun, because i know i can't afford most of the products, but a girl can dream!

After seeing many beautiful, astonishing scarfs, jewellery, cosmetics and handbags at Liberty's, it's safe to say i will be day dreaming for weeks to come, if not months.

If you are visiting Central London, male or female, shopaholic or not, a visit to Liberty's is a must. Prepare for excitement and maybe a big hit to your bank account!

Remember dreaming is healthy and everyone deserves to dream in life.

Happy dreaming,

Hope

Botanics Cleansing Hot Cloth Balm- Brilliant Bargain

Okay, here it goes.

This is a big announcement to make, especially for someone who owns so many facial beauty products but this product is by far my favourite.

As some of you may already know i have recently moved up to London, from the seaside to the city. It is true, city air is beyond disgusting, I constantly feel like I am breathing in dirt and germs. However I am slowly getting used to it but for the first few weeks I constantly felt dirty and my skin was beyond oily. Therefore i ventured to Boots to find a product that would make my skin feel clean and purified again.

I came upon this beauty, Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm, that deeply cleanses, minimises pores and smoothes. It contains a luxurious blend of Shea Butter, Roseship and Jojoba Oil and many other natural ingredients all to help lift make-up whilst dislodging pore- clogging debris reliving your beautiful complexion.

It does exactly what it says on the box and also includes one muslin cloth- extra brownie points! Price wise i paid £8.99, I wanted something that wouldn't be too expensive but affordable.

After using the product for the past two weeks I have realise how little quantity is needed per wash ( A 10p blob is more than enough!) I seriously think that this product will last me at least 3 months, if not more, therefore this makes the product a bargain in my eyes!

So you are probably wondering how do you use it? Heres a few steps, it really is as simple as it sounds!

1. Remove all make up and splash your face with warm water to prepared your skin.

2. Using a small amount massage the balm all over your face and neck in an upwards direction- this allows it to soak into your pores more directly.

3. Leave the balm on for 1-2 minutes to allow the ingredients to soak into your skin.

4. With hot water soak the muslin cloth and gently press the cloth against your face to remove the gel and dirt on the surface.

5. Refresh the cloth and remove any other remaining gel.

6. Finally, splash your face with cold water to encourage your pores to close.

The box recommends to use the balm morning and night however i naturally have quite oily skin after a long day in the city therefore i have only been using the balm 3-4 times a week. Depending on your preference, skin type and time you can decide how often to use the product!

Sometimes my skin feels waxy after use but I am un sure if this is because my skin has never been this clean and soft before or if its the products end result. Either way having skin that looks crystal clear, blackhead free and feels super soft puts a smile on any girls face.

Enjoy your new skin, softer than a babies bum!

Happy cleansing girls xoxox
